Varduhi started her early music education in Armenia’s prestigious Music School (named after Alexander Spendiaryan), at the Piano Department. She then continued to Study at the State Music College (named after Romanos Melikian), at the Piano Department and graduated with a Diploma in Piano Specialization, which also qualified her as a Teacher & Chamber Artist. For her masters, she got enrolled into the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan at the Department of Piano and after 5 Years of intensive studies, came out with flying colours, holding a ‘Masters in Music with Piano Specialization’.
Varduhi’s teaching career commenced at the Yerevan State Music School (named after Alexander Spendiaryan) and moved on to Yerevan Public School 185 and to The Cambridge, Armenia.
She then moved to India where she became part of the piano faculty of some of the best Music Education Institutions of the Country’s Capital. Varduhi then started to associate & collaborate extensively with the ‘Neemrana Music Foundation’, playing for various artists and conductors, both as a performer and as an accompanist.
As a performer, Varduhi excels in taking the tonal possibilities of the instrument to the next level and her piano credentials are based on the deep-rooted traditions of the ‘Russian Piano School’. As a teacher, she is well adept with children and is an immense motivator who inspires their musical souls to soar like an eagle. To put that into her own words;
